Triagonal will be designing the wayfinding for the new Western Sydney Airport in Australia

London based Zaha Hadid Architects and Sydney based Cox Architecture have won the Western Sydney Airport in Australia. Triagonal are proud to be part of the team, and to contribute to the ambition of giving passengers a reliable, fun and stress-free airport experience.

When opening in 2026, Western Sydney International will be a full-service airport catering for domestic and international passengers as well as freight services, featuring a single runway and facilities to handle 10 million passengers – however designed to graduallyexpand towards its long-term capacity of up 80 million passengers by the early 2060s.

With this new project, Triagonal will be serving passengers with usercentred wayfinding solutions on five continents.
