Rethinking public spaces in the wake of COVID-19
In October 2020 the Danish newspaper Politiken posted our debate entry (in Danish) on their online site about public space design and architecture called Politiken Byrum. In the debate entry Peter Donner argues, together with anthropologist Birgitte Folmann, how the challenges we face in public spaces due to COVID-19 can be addressed through design – rather than through restrictions – by creating meaningful, user-centred solutions.
