We believe that continuously testing our wayfinding solutions with the end-user is the best way to ensure that our design is both effective and long-lasting. Therefore, our wayfinding designers Pernille Rahbek Simonsen and Camilla Düsterdich have conducted an evidence study at Randers Regional Hospital to test the effect of our wayfinding strategy that was implemented in 2018.
The study investigates the effect of the implemented wayfinding design by before-and-after studies. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were applied to explore the user experience with navigating through the hospital.
The results of the study show an enhancement in patients’ ease of navigating through the hospital.
