At Triagonal, we’re sharing some of our thinking and work at the European Healthcare Design conference, which would normally have taken place in London. This year, its 900 delegates are meeting, presenting and debating virtually – the only possible way in the current situation.
On the first day of the conference, Steinar Valade-Amland gave the presentation “Empowerment through digital wayfinding solutions”, while on day two, Triagonal’s Medical Anthropologist, Louise Havskov Kristiansen presented the paper “Wayfinding way beyond the point of care delivery”. Both presentations revolved around the user-centred and empowering role that wayfinding can have if conceived as an end-to-end service offering to patients, visitors and staff of large and complex healthcare institutions.
