Regional Hospital West Jutland

User friendly and integrated wayfinding strategy for the new regional acute care hospital in Gødstrup, Denmark.

The new regional acute care hospital in Gødstrup will cover the entire western area of the Central Denmark Region. The hospital is expected to be ready for use by 2020 and will consist of an acute care unit, a somatic department and a psychiatric hospital.

By the use of personas and scenario testing with the future users of the hospital, Triagonal has analysed the building structure, future user flows and behavioural patterns. On the basis of the analysis, a wayfinding concept and information design for the Regional Hospital West Jutland has been developed.
