DOKK1

Development of a digital wayfinding and information system with focus on flexibility and user experience.

Triagonal has developed a dynamic wayfinding and information system for the combined Main Library and Citizens’ Services, DOKK1, in Aarhus, allowing flexibility in displaying different information and wayfinding throughout the day in accordance with changing functions and user groups.

The project considered the building’s varied user groups, ranging from citizens requiring municipal services, students, regular library users, children of all ages and concert goers visiting the building in the evening. With the new wayfinding systematics, the user experience is now seamless and positive no matter which goal the user might have.
