Navi Mumbai International Airport

Design of overall wayfinding masterplan for Mumbai's new airport designed to handle 60 million passengers a year.

As part of the Zaha Hadid Architects team, we have won the international competition of the new Navi Mumbai International Airport. The appointment of the Zaha Hadid team was awarded by GVK, operator of Mumbai’s existing airport as well as the future Navi Mumbai.

The project started in April 2018, and is designed to handle 60 million passengers a year by 2032. Triagonal has been responsible for developing the wayfinding strategy and design. This contains e.g., industrial design, systematics, positioning, design of signage families, signage layout and user journeys.
